The Grounds

Pehucci Children’s Home is a centre of learning for orphaned and destitute children. It is situated in the town of Ruai, about 35km east of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Ruai is situated in Embakasi area, a dry, flat land suburb of Nairobi. The organization facilities lie on a 2 acre piece of land about 10km south of Ruai shopping center. The land was formerly used to cultivate sisal, which was the long-standing main cash crop of the area. Pehucci has been continually growing over the last number of years, with a focus on sustainable projects that will help responsibly and effectively serve the needs of the children there.
